Old I.R.A. man dies in New York

Mr.Jerome Davin, who has died in New York, was a native of Rathsallagh, Fethard, Co.Tipperary, and was a commandant in the 1st Batten. 3rd Tipperary Brigade, Old I.R.A.
He worked with Dan Breen, Seamus Robinson and Sean Tracy in organising the 1st Batten. and in latter years, returned to Ireland annually for the Sean Tracy commemoration.
Mr.Davin is survived by his brothers, Very Rev. Fr. Canon Davin. P.P., Borrisoleigh; Mr. Seamus Davin, Blackjack, Co.Dublin; Mr.K. Davin, Ballydoyle, Cashel and his sisters, Mrs.Margaret Lobby, Mrs.Morrissey and Mrs. Moclair.
