Con Moloney

One of the many outstanding leaders of the War of i Independence. He was one of the main organisers of Sean Treacy’s funeral from Dublin to Kilfeacle, despite being a much wanted man. Moloney avoided capture right up to the Truce.
His brother, Paddy, lost his life in action against British forces at Gortdrum.

The Moloney family served Ireland well and paid a big price to win us freedom from foreign rule.
